. The human spine is segmented in 3 parts – Cervical Spine (neck), Thoracic Spine (ribcage) and the lumbar spine (all the way down to the booty). 99,9% of all disc prolapses (Bandscheibenvorfälle) happen in the neck and the lumbar area.. Hm.. But why? . Well, mostly, because the torso is not doing is job. It’s stiff, rusted and very challanging to trigger conciously. Which is freaking ironic- because after the neck, the thoracic spine is designed to have the widest range of motion. . You may end up having the same thought now as I did when i learned all that – So what..? . well.. as it was for me - when you experience the difference of a more mobile torso, the scales are most likely to fall from your eyes. . because.. . The ribbs will awake. The breathing gets easier. The stance gets more stable. The lumbar & neck will be relieved. V I T A L organs have more space to operate. Etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc . Etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc . Etc etc etc etc etc etc etc . Etc etc etc etc etc etc. Etc etc etc etc etc. . üüüh sweet, what a perfect occasion to talk about Y O G A and its benefits as I understand them- Because - surprise- when obeyed biomechanical principles and responsably practised, this ancient tradition has some very rad tools to revive your torso & and S O much more. . Also, hoppi, hoppi on the mat. open up those torsos. free your ribcaged ❤️s. motion = L O T I O N. but – s a f e t y first. backbend = not b a c k b e n d. anatomy, r u l e s. she - esh. . .
