. . ‚k u n g f u . . is / are supreme s k i l l s from hard work. . a poet, a caligrapher, a painter ......... they - can be said - h a v e kung fu. . a cook, yes even the one who sweeps steps or a mastereous servant can have it. . P r a c t i s e, P r e p e r a t i o n & e n d l e s s R E P E T I T I O N .. that is the way - the o n l y way - one aquires kung fu.‘ . [ s i f u / m a r c o p o l o ] . . i recently cleansed my apartement - like literally every tiny little bit of it. i knew i coulndt start the other thousand to do‘s if i did otherwise. so i bit my teeth together - as we say in austria - and threw myself in some longtime checklisted, but always deferred, unappreciated work.. days later (yes, days.. it was a L O T to do), right in the middle of refreshing the last part of the apartment - my desk, where i would then sit down and do the hardest part of hard work for me - writing my diploma - i found a fortune cookie letter, saying : . ‚The roots of work may be b i t t e r , but the fruit is s w e e t.‘ . so.. that was literally my kung fu. . whatever y o u r s may be - n o w is the time to begin. your reward is already waiting. . pretty sweet outlook, ha..? mmhh. . .
