There is a philosophical concept called S P A N D A. Literally it means 'vibration' and is linked to the origin of all being. It referres to the relationship of oposites. In later Yoga schools spanda is a way to deal with differences in general. . A bit like Yin and Yang in the chinese philosophy – Where the seed of each one lies in the other one. Where the one gives rise to the other. Where you can’t have one without the other. Where in order to get the one, you need the other. . Ever had troubles making decisions? Uhh, I did. Because when ever you say Y E S to something, it means at the same time you say N O to something else. And vice versa. Hard to accept, right ? Easy to be ambivalent. Sometimes, at least. . The list of diverse pairs is endless. Change • Consistency Movement • Stillness Freedom • Boundries Focus • Distraction Unity • Diversity Yes • No Etc • ctE . And once you start thinking about oposites and differnces, the more you realise that our world + we ourselves are made of them. We all deal differently with them. But esepcially in our times now – I love to stick with the yogic approach to it: ‚Not to avoid differences, But to E M B R A C E and P L A Y with them.’ . .
